Team admin
Manage Team plan members, seats, pooled minutes, invitations, and billing across JotMe.
Only Team admins can open this area. Team administration applies across JotMe, so this guide is separate from the Desktop, web, and mobile product guides.
Use Team in the web or desktop navigation to open Overview, Members & Allocation, Invites, and Billing & Purchases.

First-time setup after purchase#
After payment is confirmed, JotMe creates the team automatically and makes the purchaser a Team admin. The seats and live translation minutes appear in the shared pool, but every member—including the admin—starts with a 0-minute allocation.
Open Team
Open Team, then use Overview to confirm the purchased seats and shared minute pool.
Allocate minutes to yourself
Open Members & Allocation, find the account marked (you), and assign enough minutes to host translated sessions.
Invite teammates
Open Invites, create an invite link, and send it to each teammate. New members join with a 0-minute allocation.
Allocate minutes after they join
Return to Members & Allocation and assign part of the available pool to each new member.
Start using JotMe
Members use the normal live translation controls. Usage is deducted from the hosting member's allocation and the shared team pool.

Overview
Team Seats
All seats are in use. Purchase additional seats to invite more members.
Minute Pool
All minutes have been allocated. Purchase more minutes or adjust member allocations.
Seats and the minute pool#
A seat is space for one team member. The minute pool is the total number of live translation minutes the team can distribute. Team Seats shows Total Seats, Used, and Available; Minute Pool shows Total, Allocated, and Available.
Seats and minutes are separate limits. If every seat is occupied, add seats from Billing & Purchases before inviting another member. Each added seat requires at least 200 additional live translation minutes.
Members and allocation#
The member list shows each person's role, allocated minutes, and available actions. You are marked (you).
- Allocate minutes sets a member's monthly allowance. JotMe confirms before applying it and refuses allocations larger than the available pool.
- Make admin / Remove admin controls who can manage members and allocations.
- Remove member is immediate when the member has no active paid usage period. Otherwise, removal is scheduled for the end of that period.
Note
Increasing an allocation takes effect immediately when the pool has enough minutes. Reducing it is scheduled for the end of the member's current usage period; minutes already available in that period are not taken away.
How members use allocated minutes#
Once a member has a non-zero allocation, they sign in and use supported live translation workflows normally. The member hosting the session spends their own allocation; guests do not choose or draw from another member's allocation.
Allocated live translation minutes are used by live translation, real-time summary, shared guest sessions, and audio or video dubbing that draws from the live translation balance. Plain transcription, AI credits, and chat tokens use their separate per-account balances. Multipliers still apply. See Usage limits.
Invites#
Create an invite link from Invites, then send it to a teammate. Each active link reserves available team capacity and expires after seven days. If the team is full, add seats first. After the person joins, assign their minutes from Members & Allocation.
Billing and purchases#
Admins open Billing & Purchases to manage the Team plan. Purchase types, billing and usage cycles, cancellation rules, and the current interface are documented under Team pricing.
