Image translation

Extract text from a photo, screenshot, or scan, translate it, and render it back.

Image translation reads the text in an image, translates it, and renders the result back onto the picture in place of the original text.

What you can upload#

PNG, JPG, JPEG, or WEBP: up to 10 MB.

What it costs#

Each image costs 5 AI credits, shown before you start with your remaining balance. If you do not have enough, JotMe does not start the job.

The five stages#

The progress bar names each step, which is useful when a large scan takes a while:

Upload

The image is sent for processing.

Analyze

Text is located and read.

Translate

The extracted text is translated.

Mask

The layout is prepared so translated text can replace the original.

Render

The finished image is produced.

Results#

You get the rendered image to download, and the translated text blocks, which can be copied separately when you need the words rather than the picture.

What it costs is on Usage limits. To share the result, see Shared translated files; everything is kept under Translation.
