In-person meetings

Translate an in-person meeting or event, with each participant following in their own language.

Nothing about live translation requires a meeting tool. JotMe listens through the host's microphone and shares the translation with people in the room.

Set it up#

Use the shared Live translation setup, selecting the In-person environment and a microphone that can hear the room. The difference here is speaker labeling: everyone is numbered instead of separating "You" from meeting audio.

Give everyone their own translation#

Share the live translation with a URL or QR code so each participant can follow on their own phone. Everyone chooses the language they speak and the language they want to read. For event-scale staging, see Events and conferences.

Speaker labels afterwards#

In-person recordings arrive with numbered speakers. In the recording you can correct the transcript and clean it up afterwards, which is worth doing before the notes go to anyone else. See Recording.
