Share with a QR code

Put a scannable live translation link on a screen, slide, sign, or printed card for an audience.

Use a QR code when an in-person audience should open live translation on their own phones or tablets. The QR code opens the same browser participant experience as a shared URL.

Prepare participant sharing

Open Share Translation → With URL. Choose Caption or Voice and set any participant language limits under Captions or voice.

Turn on QR code sharing

Enable the QR code option in With URL. JotMe generates it from the participant browser link.

Maximise the transcript window

The QR code appears on the maximised transcript view. Put that view on a projector, presentation screen, or large monitor.

Let the audience scan before speaking

Keep the QR code visible during the introduction so attendees and late arrivals can scan it with their phone camera.

Participants choose their language in the browser; they do not need an account or installation. See Join live translation for that flow.

For voice translation, the earpiece requirement and 5× participant-minute usage are explained under Voice: hear and read the live translation.
